I skipped the spoilers as I have never watched the original series. I wasn't sure I could/should invest the bandwidth to watch the entire series. I have done it before and it's been entirely worth it binging an entire series, but I become somewhat of a mad-man tearing through all the episodes.
We recently obtained unlimited streaming per month so the Sopranos are probably in my near future:)
To be fair this show is a HUGE time commitment, so I don't blame you for questioning if you have the bandwidth for it. It took Ryan and I about half a year to get through it, which is a relatively short amount of time considering it ran on cable over a span of 8 years (1999-2007).
Also, I found Sopranos hard to binge at times since there are some really upsetting and disturbing episodes that make you feel terrible watching them (it's still worth it though, imo, but good to pace yourself). Anyway, great show to get into if you have a lot of time to kill. We've still got a few months of winter left, so it might be worth a shot!
