The train ride is sooooo worth it!! I thought I’d feel cooped up being on there for several days but it actually wasn’t bad. They do a lot of fresh air breaks so you can get off and stretch your legs throughout the day. And I liked that I could get a change of scenery by going to the dining and observation cars. Highly recommend doing a long distance trip one day!!
Train trips across America are a must-do once in a lifetime! Did one last year with my family. What a jam-packed trip filled with writing and friends! Thanks for sharing it with us
I wish everyone had the time/money to ride the train. It beats flying and it’s such a good way to slow down and appreciate just how massive and ecologically diverse this country is. I’m glad you got to experience it too!! What route did you do with your family??
