Newsletter trouble

Please excuse the glitch!!

If you’re getting this, it means you also got a newsletter called “Car trouble” in your inbox this morning … but it was only half of the essay I meant to send!

Somehow Substack reverted back to an old version when I scheduled it (the horror!). But miraculously it still saved my completed version (a relief!) so I’ve restored that full essay and it’s now ready to read.

I can’t seem to find out a way to resend Car trouble to your inbox, but it’s easy for me to send an update like this. So here’s a link to the full essay (and if you don’t feel comfy clicking email links, just go to jgw.substack.com and Car trouble should be at the top).
