It’s hard to believe 2025 started just two weeks ago. This new year has really hit the ground running, hasn’t it?
I’ll be honest — I did not start off 2025 with renewed creative energy like I hoped. The holidays were more tiring than anticipated, and my exhaustion dragged into January. Plus I feel like my brain is still half-hibernating because of all the cold weather. (It’s 30 degrees in Wisconsin right now, which is warm! But we’ll be back into the single digits this weekend.)
If you’re someone (like me) who needs some gentle creative direction right now, I have a new class that might be up your alley. It’s called (Re)start Your Writing Practice, and is all about getting back into our creative routines in 2025.
This class is for those of us who:
Let creative projects slide in the past few months and want to find our way back
Crave new writing routines in 2025 that feel fulfilling and manageable to maintain
Have never had a regular writing routine and need somewhere to start
Are facing creative roadblocks and want guidance on how to overcome them
Are seeking community, conversation, and scheduled creative time with other writers
You don’t have to be an established writer to come. This class is for any creative person at any experience level!
What I want to do is give you the space to reflect and grow more confident about your creative goals this year, no matter what they are. There’s no pressure to map out some grand plan for 2025 — rather, we’ll figure out what you need from your writing practice right now and how it’ll best fit into your life this year.
And, of course, we’ll have some great conversations in a friendly and encouraging space, whether you show up in-person or online!
Class is just $10 per person. As usual, there will be two opportunities to join:
In-person at WordHaven Bookhouse in Sheboygan on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 12pm CST (sign up here)
Online on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 12pm CST (sign up here)
Hope to see you there!
Took Jenn’s writing class last year and can confirm it’s a great, affordable way to help you get a new writing routine under your belt!
